1. Who we are
PDF Converter (the "app") is published by an independent developer based in Vietnam. You can reach us at minhsonz55555@gmail.com. References to "we," "us," and "our" mean the developer; references to "you" and "your" mean the person using the app.
2. What we do — and do not — collect
2.1 Files you open or create
Your PDFs, images, scans, signatures, and any documents you import, convert, edit, sign, watermark, or lock are processed entirely on your device. They live in the app's private storage (or wherever you tell the system to save them) and are never transmitted to our servers. We do not have servers that receive your files.
2.2 Usage analytics
We use Firebase Analytics to understand which features are used, which screens are reached, and how often the app crashes. This data is aggregated and anonymized: it identifies a device install, not you. It includes things like: app version, device model, OS version, country, screen names visited, and counts of feature taps. It does not include the contents, names, or sizes of your documents.
2.3 Crash reports
We use Firebase Crashlytics to receive crash stack traces so we can fix bugs. Crash reports may include device state at the time of the crash (model, OS, free memory) and a stack trace. They do not include your file contents.
2.4 Advertising (free tier)
The free tier shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your advertising ID (Google Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iOS) to serve more relevant ads. You can reset or disable the advertising ID at any time in your device's system settings. Where local law requires (EEA / UK / California), the app shows a consent prompt before any personalization or measurement signals are sent.
2.5 In-app purchases
If you upgrade to PRO, the transaction is handled by Apple's StoreKit or Google Play Billing — we receive only the purchase token confirming entitlement (via RevenueCat). We never see your card number, billing address, or full email; refunds and renewals are handled by the platform store.
2.6 Feedback you send us
When you tap "Send feedback" the app opens your mail client with our support address pre-filled. Whatever you write in that email is received by us — please don't include anything sensitive you don't want a human to read. We use the contents only to respond to you and improve the app.

4. Permissions the app requests
- Storage / Files — to read PDFs and images you pick, and to save output files where you choose. We only access files you explicitly select via the system picker.
- Camera — only when you tap the Scan tool. Captured pages stay on-device.
- Photo library — only when you pick images for "Images → PDF" conversion.
- Notifications — optional, used to confirm long-running conversions finished. You can deny.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, port, restrict, or delete any data we hold about you. Because we collect very little, this is usually straightforward:
- To delete your documents: delete them from the Files tab inside the app, or uninstall the app (which wipes the app's private storage).
- To opt out of analytics + crash reports: disable from Settings → Privacy (coming Phase 3), or write to us at the email below.
- To reset or block your advertising ID: use the system setting on your device.
- To export or delete any data tied to your support emails: email minhsonz55555@gmail.com from the same address and we'll respond within 30 days.
6. Children's privacy
The app is not directed at children under 13 (under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data through a feedback email, contact us and we'll delete it.
7. International transfers
Because the only services we use are Google (Firebase, AdMob) and RevenueCat, any data covered by this policy may be processed in the United States or in any other country where those providers operate. They commit to GDPR-compatible safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses); see their privacy documentation for details.
8. Changes to this policy
If we materially change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and bump the "Last updated" date at the top. For significant changes (e.g., introducing cloud sync) we'll also surface an in-app notice before the change takes effect.
